A Word from our passers...

What struck me the most about SRG is how they deliver their lectures. They have this unique yet very effective way of infusing all the key knowledge, skills and strategies one needs to make it through the boards. Plus the enhancement program and activities are very interesting. It’s fun and learning at the same time. The encouragement they gave to us is truly indispensable in helping us build the determination to make it to the top.

SRG, a well organized association which helped us to be emancipated;
that creates a different culture where sacrifices, discipline and heart is being displayed;
that can make the learning process much more easier.
My SRG experience is the most important thing that happened in my life in preparation for the local PT/OT licensure examination.
Putting our trust in your name makes us all number 1.
Thank you SRG and god bless.

“Are winners made or really born?” This is one of the questions which are often used as argument in many debates. Whatever their conclusions might come out to be, what I know is some people and institutions are born to help people to be winners (whether it is in the stereotype definition of winner or the definition of it in your every own way) —count Sultan Review Group to be one of them.

Sultan Review Group, at first I thought was just a cliché in the world of Physical Therapy. Since it is the most renowned review group in the field of PT, I prefer to enroll in their institution without expecting more but to prepare myself for the local board examination. In this instance, I’ve just proven that you cannot express how delicious a cake is unless you have a bite of it.

My stay in the review had become one of the highlights in my PT journey. I’ve met different types of people in which we have the same aspirations—to pass the local board examination, at first. This point of view has suddenly turned 180˚ when we first step into the territory of the SRG and suddenly it was furnished. The new goal was to top the board exam and not to simply pass it!

Camaraderie is another term that I also thought of whenever I remember my SRG days. Though the competition is at its best, the respect and love that our batch had shown for each other had surfaced. It was then that gimmicks, parties and disguised group studies were at their peaks. After all of these extra curricular activities, the goal remained still, TO TOP THE BOARD EXAM!
Everyday we live up looking and working up to this goal. Studying does not mean that we have to live like walking zombies; the learning has become more accommodating and enthusiastic because the technique of teaching is not the typical classroom set- up. The lecturers are always on their toes to keep the lectures interesting, informative and entertaining as well. Their hunger for knowledge reflects into their talks that’s why the students are infected with this attitude. The lecturers were not only lecturers, but they act to be mentors for all us.

KNOWLEDGE, LEARNING, FUN…these words are synonymous with Sultan Review Group but above all, it is an EXPERIENCE TO BE PART OF A FAMILY…
To God Be the Glory, thank you my SRG Family!

It seems impossible. I graduated 1996 & have taken the refresher course.
I don't know what went wrong during my previous examinations until I learned about SRG from a friend.
First I was amazed that SRG is producing topnotchers, I can't believe it at first but it's true, I became one of the topnotchers. The words of SIR EDMOND from the very first day of the orientation up to the last day of the testmanship left an incredible impact. The BEST lectures, study tips & testmanship EVER!!! Our mentors were great providers of knowledge. They will encourage you and support you in every way they can.
For me SRG is not just a review school, it’s my HOME. We are a FAMILY with one GOAL, one PURPOSE: TO BE NUMBER 1. ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD. I'm proud to be a part of the SRG FAMILY.

          DLSU Batch 2008

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
Each lecturer has its own way in delivering their topic and I think they are effective in a way that they can
encourage their students to study in easier way by giving us pneumonic, letting us sing and rationalize each
    question.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
I think in SRG, they made the topics discussed easier to understand, memorize and study.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
The review program was intensive but all are board sensitive.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
I could not really attest that all the topics discussed came out in the board exam because most of the questions
were from the reviewers. But I will give credit to SRG in teaching us the Basics, trivia ,testmanship and
    empowering us with self-confidence.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Yes of course , SRG promoted this by giving us post lecture exams in each topic, practicing testmanship also
helps a lot and I guess giving us competent lecturers are the most important.

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?   Yes, I
consider SRG as my self-confidence booster. They will give you the best lecturer in each topic that’s why you
have no doubts that you’ll not get what you deserve to know.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
I really think so, because there were some topics that were not taught in school which I’d only learned in SRG.
When I took the board exam, I really felt that I’m confident and at the same time frightened of what questions
would come out but when I told myself that I could do it because I did all my best during my review and I had
everything SRG has taught me, I started to enjoy answering the questions.

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
Yes, they really have a major role in our review. They keep our enthusiasm high and giving us self-confidence in
    every step of our review.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
Studying with more than a hundred of students in one room is not easy. But because they make sure that all of
us are learning, they will provide us what we deserve as reviewees.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
Of course, yes. In this review center we were not only honed to study the board exams sensitive topics but
were also forced to use both sides of our brain. The process of teaching was very lively which made everyone
interested in each topic that they would deliver.

11. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
Although some of the questions were already familiar to me, I managed to take one step at a time especially
with the Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology part that has many Fish and feather questions. It became easier
for me to answer those kinds of questions with the help of that technique especially made for Fish and Feather
     questions.

12. If you have attended the ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM, had it help you in answering question during the
      board exams?
I did not attend the enhancement program.

13. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
Recommending SRG is like taking one of our greatest battle (BOARD EXAM) with self-confidence and a
       power to conquer our battle.

14. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
       EXCITING, FUN, & A SUCCESS !!!

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
The teaching strategies are very effective because information delivered to the students is complete, up to date
and reinvented into something surprisingly fun. Furthermore, only the most vital information from a myriad of
     sources are summarized for us.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
The teaching style in SRG is revolutionary in a way that it reiterates vital information taught in school but
presented them in a new light that makes you want to be present every single day for MORE!

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
The SRG program is a fun way to work yourself to the top.

4 Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
Yes, because I was sure that SRG had equipped me well with the knowledge, strategies, spirit, and confidence
    that I needed.

5. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
Reviewing for the boards is a mental struggle as well as an emotional journey for all students. The advisers’
genuine concern for our attendance and schedules remind us that there are still people who will offer their help
    for us to succeed.

6. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
Contrary to most opinions, being with students from different schools is a very enriching and positive
environment. We helped and encouraged each other each day with smiles and group prayers.

7. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
All I can say is that when all else fails, THE testmanship by Sir Edmond Sultan will help keep you sane and
endure the 600 questions with a keen sense of thought.

8. If you have attended the ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM, had it help you in answering question during the
      board exams?
In the span of my review, I realized that information hidden in questions given in the enhancement program are
those hard to find bits of knowledge that really challenged me. I knew that after going through a battery of
enhancement questions…I was ready for anything.

9. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
I would recommend SRG to those wanting a boards experience to remember. You do not only get facts from
different sources or carefully studied testing strategies, but you also get the whole package of fun and
      spirituality.

10. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
      Extraordinary! Wholistic! Fun!

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
SRG’s teaching strategies are tried and tested already. The lecturers make teaching fun and look easy. These
strategies made the name for SRG, they are SRG’s “framework” for success as seen in number of boardpassers and
    topnotchers enrolled in SRG.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
In SRG, they make teaching/lectures fun and learning experience. As Sir Ed says, every lecture is a show—the
lecturers sing, dance and make stories out of the lecture ( which is a hard and brave thing to do) to make the
students focused their attention and make the lecturers enjoyable. Also, only board sensitive related topics are
    discussed and focused about.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
As I said earlier, the review program in SRG are board sensitive and only focuses on the important aspects of the
topics. They summarize the lecture from the different references, that you don’t need to read those hardbound,
thick books. They make the review program an unforgettable experience for us because of the camaraderie
between the lecturers and the students.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
Based on our board exam (July 2008), almost 60- 70% of the APK part of the exam was taught/ lectured during our
    review.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Competence is promoted in SRG through training its students in answering question based lectures like (the
numerous) PLEs, coachings, Past boards and the mock exams that helped us honed our knowledge.

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?
SRG made its students self-confident in taking the boards. Lecturers made it sure that they guide us in achieving our
goal which is to be number 1 in the board exam. They also told us their inspiring stories while they were just like us
then and made us believe that we also can do it.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
If I am not enrolled in this review center, I would not imagine myself passing the boards, and moreover topping it.
This review center organized the topics that I need to study, made me study what only is important and saved my
time and energy in studying what I need to study.

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
My batch adviser, Sir John was very very hilarious. I am looking forward to attend to his lectures because he is very
funny, never a dull moment with him. Batch advisers are very helpful to us because they are the ones who really
pushed us very hard to pass the board exams and constantly reminding us to study. They are the ones fixing our
schedules (what lectures we missed or we need to take), fixing our balances ( hehehe. U can delete this SIR) and
fixing the things that we need to do. They can be easily approached to when we need something.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
Even though there are lots of students sitting in the room, one can listen and take the same lecture again from the
other batches. SRG is equipped with ample and well ventilated and well lighted rooms.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
Of course, I really enjoyed my stay @ SRG. It gave me an opportunity to know more people from students to
lecturers who came from different backgrounds and culture and shared experiences with them. A good
     companionship was built around us.

11. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
Sir ED is the epitome of testmanship. Without his help, I wouldn’t have the chance to answer the challenging
questions. This testmanship gave me the chance to give an intelligent/sensible answer and still nail the correct
answer even though you don’t know what the hell the question is all about.

12. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
I would really recommend SRG. As I said without SRG I would not be a boardpasser.

13. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
It is TRULY fun/enjoyable, learning and unforgettable experience.

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
The SRG lecturers have honed their own teaching skills and impart lessons in an efficient and effective manner.
Through the use of repetition, multimedia, and clever mnemonics/songs, they are able to help the students
remember key concepts and difficult topics. The lecturers also use their innate sense of humor to ensure that the
   students learn while having fun.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
Our school does not have an in-house review and thus I am not qualified to answer the question. I do have
batchmates who reviewed on their own, and they relied heavily on past handouts and the PT-OT reviewer. There is a
significant difference in ‘experiencing’ the lesson in SRG through lectures and simply reading it on paper.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
The review program in SRG is structured into key topics for Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology, Medical and
Surgical Conditions, and profession specific applications, including management, organization and ethics. SRG
provides lectures along with reviews of past board exams and topic-specific questionnaires. Though I was not able to
attend, SRG also offers vital test-taking strategies and a mock-exam to help prepare the students for the test-taking
experience and to help them gauge their own capacity and growth throughout the review period.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
Majority of the board-sensitive topics in the board exams came from LE Kinesiology, Orthopedics and Rheumatology.
I was able to answer a significant number of questions in APK due to the lectures given for the aforementioned
topics. General Medical Surgical Conditions proved to be a nightmare and required stock knowledge, intelligent
guesses and pure luck. As for the OT Apps, all questions were lifted from the reviewers, particularly Sladyk and
Cabatan, which were not emphasized during the OT-specific review sessions.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Competence is promoted in SRG through pre-lecture and post-lecture quizzes, PLEs, recitation and through
establishing proper strategies in answering questions. Students are taught how to analyze the questions and avoid
unnecessary and avoidable mistakes during the board exam.

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?
SRG was a vital contributor to my self-confidence in taking the boards. I trusted the institution from which I
graduated to have provided my building blocks of knowledge, and SRG also helped hone my skills and allowed me to
review topics which may not have been emphasized in school. I was unable to review during the summer due to my
unique circumstances, and SRG helped me set aside the time and build up my confidence to do well in the board
   exam.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
SRG did give me the edge to pass the board exam through the structure of the lessons and development of my self-
confidence. I am an admitted visual-auditory learner, and discussions of topics helped immensely in allowing me to
retain the information given, which may not have been the same result from simply reading the reviewers.

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
The batch advisers played a major role in the review. They served as our counselors, our pillars of strength, and our
unyielding supporters as we struggled through the hectic schedules and the late nights. We felt safe and happy
whenever we had meetings with Sir Third as he never failed to impart his dose of humor and his prayers and
   reassurances for us.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
I liked the fact that I was in the 5th batch because I did not know a lot of people there, and my batchmates were
mostly PTs. It helped me because it prevented me from chatting during lectures, and motivated me to challenge
myself in order to keep up with my batchmates, particularly in APK topics which are admittedly a weakness of OTs.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
I enjoyed my review because I felt that I was not alone in toiling through the topics and lectures. I also felt
comforted that my instructors never failed to motivate and inspire us throughout the review no matter how late the
    sessions ran.

11. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
I was able to attend the first session, and this helped me in dealing with the ‘except’ questions in the APK part of the
board exam. The testmanship lecture also helped me gain a more logical approach to the questions.

12. If you have attended the ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM, had it help you in answering question during the board exams?
I did not attend the enhancement program.

13. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
I would definitely recommend SRG to my friends and undergraduates.

14. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
      Fun, comprehensive and intensive.

Kristel Anne Ayroso

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
All the lecturers in SRG are REMARKABLE. They taught us the fastest/easiest way to remember things by sharing
their strategies to us like using choreographies and songs. Lectures are delivered in a way that they can be easily
    understood.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
In school, it’s more of a formal way of teaching. In SRG, it’s more of a “show” but in a good way. They made hard
    topics seem light/easy.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
Review in SRG focuses on topics that they think would come out in the actual board exam. Lectures are
    comprehensive.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
SRG shares their knowledge and aids you to become EXCELLENT, thus making you COMPETENT in taking the board
    exams.

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?
Reviewing in SRG encouraged us to believe in ourselves. They helped me believe that with good education, good
review center and FAITH in GOD, anything is possible even topping the boards.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
Yes. When we took the pre-boards, it helped me gauge myself if I can remember the things that they taught me and
if I can manage my time well.

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
Yes. Sir Alfred did a great job in guiding us in our review. He pushed us to study hard, encouraged us to be the best
that we can be and prayed for our success.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
Even though there are many students enrolled in SRG, they still make it a point that everyone understands the
lectures. Most of the classrooms are well-ventilated and have comfortable chairs; things that are important when
    studying.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
Of course!☺Everyone is great. Lecturers and batchmates are approachable.

11. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
The testmanship made me realize that even the hardest questions can be answered easily. It helped us see
     things/questions in a different perspective.

12. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
If you want to make it on TOP, go to the BEST review center. Where else? SRG!

13. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
     Fun learning experience!

Katherine Grace C. Reyes, OTRP

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
The lectures are very informative and very “entertaining”. I learned from SRG, that learning should not be boring,
that learning should be fun, and interesting. You learn better that way.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
Hats off to all those universities that gave us the knowledge we need. They gave us the foundation to love the
profession. With SRG, they gave a little more “umph” to it. They hi-lighted what we needed to know; hi – lights on
    more “boards sensitive” topics.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
It’s not your ordinary session. Believe me.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
Med – surg was always difficult, according to past takers. But SRG helped a lot for the 1st and 3rd parts.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Topping and not just passing the boards by SRG reviewees? Need I say more?

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?
“Passing is next to failing”. Indeed, why just aim to pass when you can do your best to top it? SRG taught me that.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
The words of the lecturers were both like premonitions, and threats. Haha! They kept reminding us that pressure is
always a privilege. That exerting effort needs a little more extra.

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
Oh yes. Our Adviser gave is “uplates” =) He kept texting words of encouragement. He even went to Manaoag on the
day of the boards to pray for us.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
With this I have to be honest, the rooms are a little bit cramped, and the airconditioning needs a little bit of fixing.
Some reviewees can’t concentrate at times, because it’s either too hot or too cold inside the room.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
Yes, I did. I met new people. I learned a lot.

11. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
Sadly, it didn’t work for me. I was too tensed during the exam that I don’t know what else to think. But, I know it
     helped the others.

12. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
I even recommended it to my nursing friends! I highly recommend =)

13. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
     Emotionally and intellectually stimulating =)

Quennie Irina Monzon, OTRP - Top 6 July 2008 PT/OT Licensure Exam – UST Class 2008

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
Very effective. I was able to easily recall all topics lectured with the use of the mnemonics as well as the “songs” of
     some of the topics.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
I am not sure of the difference because I didn’t attend any lectures from in-house. 

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
Topics discussed are comprehensive. There are a lot of topics I am not familiar with; thus, I am very grateful to
    SRG for teaching those topics.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
The “topics” are boards sensitive but in the recent board exams, questions asked were “out of the blue”. The topics
discussed in SRG are board specific; but, lacks specificity. Questions asked in the board exam were so specific that I
    didn’t know the answers.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Yes, definitely. I am very confident in taking the exams. Although, I didn’t know and unsure of the answers I
shaded, I lifted my faith to God (taught by SRG professors) and let Him guide me in answering the questions. 

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?
I can say YES. At first, I am hesitant if I will take the July or Feb boards; however, after all the lectures and after
the TESTMANSHIP by sir Sultan, my confidence heightened and I know and am very sure of passing the board
    exam.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
I would say 75% lectures and past boards, 15% stock knowledge, 10% faith and luck. There were a lot of questions
in APK and a little in OT Apps that came from past boards. However, questions in the MS part were “alien”. There
were only approximately 3-5 items asked that was from past boards. 

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
I can say YES! Just their mere support plays a major role in our taking the board exam 

9. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
Yes, definitely. The professors as well as the other staffs were all very friendly and approachable. And, since, I was
also able to meet a lot of people from other schools. 

10. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
Recommended!  As I’ve mentioned above, I learned a lot in SRG (Things/topics I didn’t learn in my school). SRG
makes studying a whole lot easier and easy to remember. 

11. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
      a. fun
      b. excellent
      c. memorable

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
Lecturers of SRG, aside from mastering their lecture proper, have also designed a more integrated, innovated yet
effective way of delivering it to the students. SRG lecturers only teach what is needed and important and thus makes
it easier for the students to pass the board exams.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
In SRG, students don’t feel pressured with the lectures even if it is sometimes difficult to understand because
lecturers try their very best to explain them in a more simpler form even incorporating them with some of their jokes
and punchlines. Fast paced lectures and all the “must knows” of our course is taught to us here.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
The whole SRG review program was brief yet concise. Time was maximally utilized to focus the students on the more
important and board sensitive topics. Each review day spent in an SRG lecture is comparable to attending a school
   lecture for 1-2 weeks.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
Based on our exam, almost all of the topics were actually new and not fully discussed even in our school. But then
again it was already expected, so I guess that the Board of examiners now are focusing their questions on a topic
   commonly overlooked by the students.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Yes, in SRG students are directed towards a common goal which is to become number 1. It’s a form of developing a

          Bernadette Cid
University of the Philippines

1. How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
On a scale of 0-10, with 10 being the highest, I would have to rate it as an 8. Most of the strategies could be easily
learned and applied during the review, and were very helpful to me in retaining new and even old info.

2. What are the differences between the way of teaching in school/In-house review and in SRG?
The specificity and conciseness of the topics taught in SRG may be the main difference. The preparation that the
review center helps us with makes us more ready to answer the board exams.

3. Describe the review program in SRG.
It’s well-thought of, though there is still room for improvement. The lectures were picked well so that the student
would be more “board ready”. Though no one can be 100% ready for the boards, SRG still makes the student more
    competent and confident for it.:)

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
The July 2008 may be one of the toughest board exams in the history of Local OT-PT Boards (no exaggerations!)
because of so many new topics that came out, but there were still numerous topics there that were discussed with
us. I must add that SRG is right in saying that the local boards is now following the trend in the State Boards, so it’s
really okay to recommend to students to read NPTE reviewers.

5. Is competence promoted in SRG? How?
Yes it is, through question and answer portions during lectures, pre-tests, post-tests, PLE’s and of course the mock
boards. SRG provides a framework that the students could use while reviewing, even on their own. Students are
also motivated to assess themselves and their performance in the same manner.

6. Did you develop in SRG your self-confidence in taking the boards? How do the lecturers promote this?
I sure did.:) My mentors gave me the guidance in studying, and provided me with the know-how in preparing for the
exams not only mentally, but also emotionally and even spiritually:) I was always motivated to do my best by these
people by setting examples for me to follow.

7. Did reviewing in SRG give you the edge in passing / topping the board exam? Why/How?
Yes, the students in SRG have an edge due to the strategies taught, and knowledge given to us that made us
    prepared specifically for the boards.

8. Do batch advisers play a major role in your review? Why?
YES! I was very fortunate to have Sir John Ragudo as my adviser. He really took care of our batch by ensuring that
we were sufficiently equipped with knowledge from our lectures. Saka, palagi niya kaming pinapatawa kahit na toxic
na kami Even though, it wasn’t outright obvious, he really cared about and for us

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
I have to be honest, SRG is not the quietest nor the most serene place when there are classes, but still, I tried to
get as much reading as I could when I was there. I guess the busyness and noise of the place, gave me an
    adrenaline rush while reviewing.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
With everything that has transpired over the past few months, I could say that over all, it was a BLAST going to
SRG. I had been given the opportunity to meet new friends from all over the Archipelago and have great lecturers
as well. I met a lot of new and pleasant people which made the experience richer.

11. How did the TESTMANSHIP of Sir Edmond Sultan help you in the boards?
It was very helpful because my new goal when answering during the boards was not just to get the right answer, but
to first eliminate all the wrong ones, and with the techniques that he taught, I had an easier time in doing so

12. If you have attended the ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM, had it help you in answering questions during the board
      exams?
I learned a lot during the enhancement program but it was leaning more towards to state boards, so I guess, it
helped more with my NPTE, if I would to take it

13. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?
      On a scale of 0-10 (again), it’s a 10

14. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
      Fun, Fantastic and Fulfilling

Aira Alondra Uy, OTRP - Top 3 July 2008 PT/OT Licensure Exam – University of Santo Tomas Class 2008

1.How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG? Why?
SRG’s teaching strategies are tried and tested already. The lecturers make teaching fun and look easy. These
strategies made the name for SRG; they are SRG’s “framework” for success as seen in number of board passers and
   topnotchers enrolled in SRG.

As I said earlier, the review program in SRG are board sensitive and only focuses on the important aspects of the
topics. They summarize the lecture from the different references that you don’t need to read that hardbound, thick
books. They make the review program an unforgettable experience for us because of the camaraderie between the
    lecturers and the students.

4. How board sensitive are the topics discussed in SRG based from your board exam?
Based on our board exam (July 2008), almost 60- 70% of the APK part of the exam was taught/ lectured during our

Why?
My batch adviser, Sir John was very hilarious. I am looking forward to attend to his lectures because he is very
funny, never a dull moment with him. Batch advisers are very helpful to us because they are the ones who really
pushed us very hard to pass the board exams and constantly reminding us to study. They are the ones fixing our
schedules (what lectures we missed or we need to take), fixing our balances and fixing the things that we need to
do. They can be easily approached to when we need something.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?

other batches.

As I said without SRG I would not be a board passer.

13. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
It is TRULY fun/enjoyable, learning and unforgettable experience.

Yes. Sir Alfred did a great job in guiding us in our review. He pushed us to study hard, encouraged us to be the best
that we can be and prayed for our success.

Katherine Grace Cristobal Reyes, OTRP - Top 9 July 2008 PT/OT Licensure Exam – University of Santo Tomas Class 2008

1.How effective and efficient are the teaching strategies of the lecturers in SRG?

That exerting effort needs a little more extra.

day of the boards to pray for us.

9. How conducive is the learning environment in SRG?
With this I have to be honest, the rooms are a little bit cramped, and the airconditioning needs a little bit of fixing.

10. Did you enjoy your review in SRG? Why?
Yes, I did. I met new people. I learned a lot.

11. How strongly would you recommend SRG to your friends?

12. In three words, how would you describe your SRG experience?
      Emotionally and intellectually stimulating =)

SRG’s review program did not just equip me with knowledge, it trained my abilities to reason out and apply my knowledge while taking exams. Our excellent lectures motivated me to study harder while the thousands of exam questions I answered gave me the chance to monitor my own progress. Many different types of exam questions require some kind of getting used to, but our last two weeks of answering and rationalizing exams improved my thinking and did a lot to boost my confidence. I commend all our SRG mentors for their honesty and their dedication for teaching and I am confident that the people I recommend them to won’t feel any less satisfied than I do.
-Anne Lorraine Trinidad Lorenzo, UPHSD Las Piñas

                                                                NPTE

I preferred SRG over all other NPTE review schools because of its unique modular presentation which I find efficient and is the most systematic way of learning. It has also harmonized the best of teachers with their in-depth lectures making us ready to take on any challenge that the stateboards would require. – S.A

I can say that SRG has been giving its students a high standard quality of review. With its new modular program, comprehensive system of discussion and stateboard – sensitive topics, we were able to know exactly what we really need to do and focus on, thus making us smart and more confident individuals upon facing the most crucial and important examination of our lives…the NPTE. – M.C.F

Confidence is not synonymous with organization of thoughts… it stems from it. An ideal review center does not only give a nitty – gritty of complex knowledge, rather it should be organized to give a clearer and better insight. That’s what SRG espouses, rather, what it is for. – R.T

Brief and concise lectures given every sessions. The program is very effective for students because of the organized pattern of topics which helps with better understanding of each module. Teachers are also very accommodating to questions raised by students. – A.E

SRG’s review setting is perfect. The topics covered are set in a modular pattern which is at par in preparing for the US Stateboards. In addition to that, the atmosphere of learning is very conducive excellent instructors and their lectures, smooth student – teacher interaction, clear PowerPoint presentations, friendly SRG staffs, cool – spacious, well – lit rooms and sturdy chairs. Post modular exams are given where students find their weak and strong points. – L.B

Definitely, the way of teaching in SRG is a lot LIVELIER and the lecturers always find a way to make each session not only memorable but also a FRUITFUL one. NOTHING BEATS SRG Lecturers!

Carlito Articulo, PTRP - Siliman University Class 2007

The teaching style in SRG enabled us to retain the information more effectively. Having the lessons and ideas in SONGS and CATCY PHRASES made us own them and have them incorporated in our own, everyday experiences which made them easier to remember.

Icy Fresno Anabo, OTRP - TOP 3 July 2007 University of the Philippines Class 2007 (OT)

Honestly, it was INFORMATION OVERLOAD but BRIEF and CONCISE. Lectures were not only informative but also facilitative. Students were trained not only to gulp huge amounts of information but were stimulated to use of higher mental processes to convert crude and bulk knowledge to correct answers for board sensitive questions.

Ryan James Teodosio, PTRP - TOP 3 July 2007 Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Class 2007

Most of the topics discussed came out in the actual board exam! What I appreciate is that the teachers would give EXTRA EMPHASIS on topics they believe would really come out.

Louie Navarro, OTRP - Our Lady of Fatima University Class 2002

The quality of SRG review program is assured by being AWARE OF THE CURRENT TRENDS in the board exams. Nobody surely knows what would come out in the exams but SRG was able to equip me with the knowledge (and confidence) needed to pass the boards.

The topics discussed during lectures are very much associated with the examination you are about to take. THE LECTURERS ARE YOUR BREAD & BUTTER in your exam!!!

SRG TEAM has gone extensive studies about the board exam and has MASTERED THE DELIVERY of board sensitive topics to reviewees of SRG and I AM PROUD to be a part of the group.

Competence is promoted in SRG by setting an environment wherein EXCELLENCE is not an opinion, but a PREREQUISITE, not a set of rules and regulations but of CULTURE, not an interest but a PASSION, not a 3-month practice but a LIFE-LONG DISCIPLINE.

Ryan James Teodosio, PTRP - TOP 3 July 2007 Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Class 2007

Boosting our morale every chance they get made us FEEL GOOD ABOUT OURSELVES, which consequently made me feel COMPETENT & CONFIDENT to go out there and take the boards. Also, the way they tried to discuss everything means that they want us to correctly answer the questions as we could, because EVERY POINT COUNTS.

Icy Fresno Anabo, OTRP - Top 3 July 2007 OT Licensure Exam University of the Philippines

Yes, competence is greatly emphasized in the center. The FIRST DAY (Orientation) is a MUST to attend; the day after you attend, your VISION will be changed..

Gem Catama, PTRP - Lyceum Northwestern University Fourth Batch July 2007

SRG developed competence and confidence of their students by teaching them to study (and live) in a healthy, orderly and disciplined manner. The lecturers instill the feel-good attitude to their students when they OVERCOME IDLENESS and OTHER VICES not helpful for the course of the review. Also, the lecturers provide COMPELLING PRAYERS and INSPIRATIONAL STORIES to lift up their students’ dispositions.

Reviewing in SRG REFINED my skills in learning and test taking for the purpose of TOPPING the boards. It directed my focus from information acquisition to translation of foundational knowledge into correct answers.

Ryan James Teodosio, PTRP - TOP 3 July 2007 Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Class 2007

Coming from the Southern province, I would say SRG really gave me the edge in passing the exams as I NEVER REALLY EXPECTED that I would actually be VERY CLOSE TO THE TOP TEN and do this good in the exams reflecting over the questions that came out.

Carlito Articulo, PTRP - Siliman University Class 2007 Fifth Batch July 2007

It is my first time to take the board exam and I was nervous because it has been FOUR YEARSD since I graduated from my course in college. SRG gave me the much needed confidence and the PROFESSORS BELIEVED IN ME. Thankfully, I passed. WITHOUT SRG, I DON’T THINK I COULD DO IT.

Louie Navarro, OTRP - Our Lady of Fatima University Class 2002

Reviewing at SRG provided us all what it takes to pass and TOP THE EXAM. They had given us knowledge, confidence, discipline in ourselves and brought us close to GOD. EXCELLENCE may be really rare to look for but it was never been that hard to achieve when you’re an SRG reviewee.

Janice Gumba Gullas, PTRP / TOP 4 July 2007 City College of Manila Class 2007

TESTMANSHIP gives the reviewee SELF-CONFIDENCE & HOPE. It gives more percentage of getting the right answer and NOT JUST BY GUESSING if the examinee doesn’t know the answer. It helps narrow down the answer, which gives you a BETTER CHANCE of getting the correct answer.

Luigi Ang, PTRP - Riverside College Class 2007 Fifth Batch

The principles of test-taking skills in me was further refined. Not setting aside divine intervention, the techniques surely surely helped me TRANSVERSE SMOOTHLY & QUICKLY over the questions even when worse comes to worst. This institution has been excellent in training simple board takers to be board TOPNOTCHERS. Results say so..

Ryan James Teodosio, PTRP - TOP 3 July 2007 Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila Class 2007

I took my review classes seriously, studied diligently and did my homewok for I know that this was a chance of a lifetime. No second chances. I felt sad whenever a colleague at POC resigned and sought greener pastures abroad, feeling ko napag-iwanan na ako. I, too, wanted to grow as a person and enrich my profession. Taking the exam and passing it was a BEGINNING, a springboard of a better tomorrow. Thank you SRG for helping me fulfill my dream.
